Growing up in Massachusetts I’ve cought mostly Common Garter snakes and Eastern Ribbon snakes, one Smooth Green snake, and a couple of DeKay's Brown snakes. I never knew that the Eastern Rat snake (Elephe obsolet) inhabits MA. I looked it up and I guess they are on the list. Has anyone ever cought one up here? :shrugs:
