New Snake Owners

In the land of Cheeeeeese
As a new snake owner, you might be wondering what to expect from your (presumably) young snake as far as prey size and growth is concerned.

I acquired Roxanne from Kathy Love on 2/21/2007 and I have charted her prey size and the size of her at each feeding.

I am following the Munson Plan pretty closely. However, in order not to waste mice, I use up what I have until Roxanne is ready for the next bigger size. Note, Roxanne is probably on the smallish side and one snake by no means represents the growth patterns of every snake.

If you would like the data points represented on the graphs, please let me know.

Hopefully this will give you some idea what to expect during your first year of snake ownership.

Regards,
Steve

Awesome info and great job on record keeping!

My notebook and pen is nowhere near as cool!

Thank you.

Hopefully it will help to alleviate some of the "anxiety" from not knowing what to expect.

Regards,
Steve
