my snake is sitll very small.. but the tank i have is a 50gallon tank.. i have been closing off half of the tank so its only has acces to one side.. would it be ok to leave the whole tank open for the snake to roam around? the heating pad i bout is not all that big.. it covers mayb 1/4 of the bottom of the whole tank.. would that be sufficient heat? or will the other side of the tank be too cold? my house temp is set to stay at 74f all day..

50 GAL TANK

I have a 55 gallon tank. I have a 2007 corn snake in it. I created three separate hides, three bowls of water and climbing sticks and vines. He seems to be doing great. I keep track of temp. to make sure it evens out for your warm and cool side.

I would open it up and let the little guy roam. Mine stays in all the hides and drinks from all bowls. Sometimes he's under the shavings. Just from my personal experience you shouldnt have a problem. Just watch the temps.

ok sounds good.. ill unblock it today ant take somepics.. im new on here so i have yet to post pics of my little guy
