I just have a question about the humidity in my 4 tubs.. I have found that the tubs are misting up on the sides - creating alot of moisture which is soaking the newspaper - making the humidity even higher and its not pleasant for the snakes to have soggy substrate :uhoh:
The pads are heating up to 84 - 86. I have a stick on humidty gauge but I doubt its accuracy..
I have now moved their water bowls to the cold side which has stopped the misting up but now I'm wondering if the humidity is high enough? I live in a rather dry area - no humidity really.
I suppose I could wait to see how the next shed goes but they have all been shedding in complete peices so I'd like to keep it that way..
When I got my first corn - I was told to use Corn Cob and they had horrible sheds.. So I switched to astro and they started having perfect sheds.
Thanks alot
