Nice snake, and cool viv. Make sure you put lots of cover in there so she doesn't get freaked out, that's a pretty decent size. Make sure you post the finished product :)

Damn dude, your collection grows every time I come on here!

Yay! Another Dumeril's owner....makes me happy to see others with cumeril's out there.

I have a '05 female who's 4ft and am trying to round up money(and space) for a '01/'02 female who approx. 7ft and 20lbs and a absolute doll temperament wise.

Congrats and Dumeril's rule! ^.^

Thanks. Dave she's not going strait into the large viv. untill she's grown a bit. It's just the other half would not let me get her untill id built the viv.

Wow, gorgeous snake, their amazing animals! (very jealous :spinner:). They're on my wish list, sitting at the very top ;) Im actually off to Madagascar to work with them next year.

I'm sure you know this already but make sure to put alot of substrate in your viv ;)

are dumeril's arboreal? ive seen some big ones at a show or two, and always wondered if they could climb, or more of a ground snake?

Thanks everyone. She will arrive tommorow, im so excited. Yep i know about the substrait, there an ambush snake that burys itself and waits for it's prey to come to it.
