Hatchling BP Tub Sizes?

R.W.

Call me Richard
I'm building a few racks for some ball pythons and was wondering: Does anyone know if the 6 quart sterilite tubs are a good size for hatchling ball pythons? If so how long do you think I could keep them in there?

Yes, and they can live in there until about 400 grams.

Thanks alot! I was stupid and bought a bunch of them before even stopping to think that they might not be the right size. What a relief.

While I'm thinking about it. Once they get to 400 grams, what size would would you reccomend moving them into?

15 qts would be good for subadults up to around 800+ grams (give or take), and then 32qts for adults... 41 qts for the huge females :)

Have fun with them, and if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask me.
