beautiful new viv!!! the 36x18x18 exo terra tank some of you have been waiting for

so Milly's new tank came in, the exo terra front-opening 55 gallon!! i was so excited to set it up, and it looks GORGEOUS!!!

but a question, is there any reason i should NOT use one of those exo terra (i think it's an exo terra) waterfalls? i heard it raises the humidity, but would it really make much difference in a 55 gallon?

by the way, pictures coming soon, i'm busy watching the canucks last game of the season :(:(:(:(

so here's pics!

1. Milly just couldn't WAIT to try out her new viv, i wasn't even done arranging the plants, OR putting on the background!

2. Finished product.

3. Finished product again, note the waterfall, that Millicent just LOVES! she drinks from it all the times and splashes around in the basin.

4. Milly crusin' around, looking epic and beautiful!

hope you like, and all of you that were wondering if the new exo-terra viv is a good buy, GET ONE ASAP!!! i totally love it!!

i think the suggested retail price is $269. but i'm a lucky gal and i got mine for $160! workin in a pet store has it's advantages.

but as for my question up top, anyone else use a waterfall in their viv? i of course also have a water dish, but milly seems to like to drink from the waterfall. i heard it raises humidity though, but in a 50 gallon, does that really make much of a difference?

Aw man that's a nice set-up you've got there for her! I like those elongate ones that give more horizontal space. Great for snakies. :)

My now-ex got me an 18x18x24 one for Christmas, and it took me until yesterday to decide on something to put in it. I'm happy to say my new ghost corn is settling in!

awesome!!! im getting an exo terra for my whites tree frogs when i get my taxes back lol.......omg im so excited!!! those are awesome tanks. i have the smallest one avaialble but i dont use it cuz its too small lol i've never seen one like that before...usually i see the ones that are really tall which is why i want one for my whites. there is a petstore warehouse that i do my pet supply shopping at and the one i want is going for about 130 which is i think the biggest one they carry! woohoo nice set up ;)

yeah the 36x18x18 exo terras are very hard to come by right now. they're a new product, just came out. there's also a 36x18x24, which i should have opted for, since it would take up virtually no more room, but the one i have works JUST fine. it's beautiful and i love it, and milly comes out a LOT more now. which surprises me after everything i read about hatchlings not liking a very big setup. but she has her aspen to hide in and her trees and vines and toobs and ships and treasure chests and caves and whatnot! she's a stoked lil gal.

The waterfall looks awesome..though I can't answer if it definitely will affect the humidity and your snake in a good or bad way..I think it looks really nice and it is just my guess that it shouldn't hurt the humidity to badly..I would say buy a hygrometer and be a judge for yourself..but it looks really nice! :0)
