Heating on the move

Hi Guys i was just wondering how you transport your reptiles? are there good products? or tips. Cheers for your help, spyder is traveling to London soon so i thought id ask how you keep yours warm.

If it is cold out, I place the snake in a container which is, then, placed into an insulated box or cooler (with newspaper, or something else, to fill the empty spots and prevent snake container from sliding around inside the box or cooler).
A heat pack is added (Not against snake container) ... and measures are taken to ensure that the box/container does not become too hot.
However, if snake (box/cooler) is always in a warm place (during travel), a heat pack would not really be needed.

For warm weather, I do the same but, of course, do not add a heat pack. Cool pack may be added ... depending on certain circumstances.

Also, cold weather or warm weather, the insulated box (or cooler) is placed where it does not receive direct sunlight.

Depending on how long the trip is, I've used foot/hand warmers (very cheap from EMS or Walmart) under a piece of clothing or rag and place the container's warm side on top of that so it stays about 80-85 on that side. I use long sterilite tubs though, not deli cups. I make sure it's stabilized before I leave though. If your trip is roughly 4 hours or less it should be fine. I think they have 12 hour ones too. The rag/cloth serves as a buffer and it's never gotten too hot. Adjust as needed. This might be more complicated than other's ways of heating.
