i just got my first corn about a week ago. everything is going good but i live in an attic right now and it gets really hot up there while im at school everyday. today when i came home it was 95 degrees.. i know thats hot but is it too hot? is there anything i can do to make it cooler? the snake seemed to be fine.. he was out roaming and stuff but im just wondering if 95 is dangerous? help please! i wana fix it before i go back to school!

They can deal with short periods at 95, but not prolonged exposure. ANd this is just APril, if its that hot now its going to be much hotter in the coming days.

You need to move it somewhere cooler. And turn off any heat or at least make sure you are using a thermostat. Or get a cheap window AC unit. Just enough to get it down to 80 or so.

I have found that once they get to about 90F (without a way to escape the heat), they are much more likely to regurge or to have other stress problems. In the wild, they have the option of going in a burrow, or water, or in some cooler, moist soil in deep shade, etc. I think you are going to have problems if you don't find a way to keep the cage cooler.

ya you guys are right its only gonna be getting hotter too.. ill just try and find a cheap ac unit somewhere. thanks for you help

What do you have your snake housed in?
Untill you get an AC maybe you could get him into a bigger cage or one with good air flow and add a few more water dishes(maybe an icecube in one?). Do you have the window open? You could add a fan in the window to suck out the hot air?
