My corn snake is about 1 foot long and when I woke up she was gone! What do I do to try and find her? Anyone got some tips?:confused:
 
oh yea and before you search your house
double check the cage if your corn is really not in there
check under bedding or side etc
 
Heres another question if I still can't find her should I bring in my dog to try and help. Maybe my dog could smell her or something... Or would that just scare the snake even more and make it even harder to find her?
 
i don't think that would do anygood snakes hide weird places and dark places they barely move when it's unsave and when it's bright out so im not sure what dog would do
 
Just leave some mice out in some inverted topped bottles in some places.
In case you don't know what that is, I will tell you. You get a soda bottle and cut off the narrow end with the opening, then you stick it inside the other half of the bottle, so that the bottle opening leads inside the bottles "fat part"(hope that made sense).
 
Good luck, I hope you find your baby. And just to give you a bit of hope. I have had numerous snakes get out and could only never find one hatchling. But it did get out into a room of kittes , So :(
