Howdy,
I have a juvenile corn that wasn't in very good health when I acquired her. She had at least one complete stuck shed. Finally after almost a month of being opaque/clear she had a really thick shed. There was quite a bite of scale damage after the shed. I found that a light coat of canola oil helped keep the injuries from getting infected, & softened the skin which allowed for very easy & frequent sheds. She is almost completely healed & doing great.I hope that you don't need to use this procedure, but it really works great if something happens.
Have a Great day
