Only slightly crazy...
I was given a tip of advice at an expo last weekend to upgrade my babies food size. I've had him since janurary and he's approximately 18 inches long, and still very thin.

What size would you recommend? Right now I'm still giving him pinkies and he eats them with no problem.

Maybe instead of an upgrade just add another pinkie and give him two at a time?
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. :]]

Here's a picture to show how small he still is. He's already shed for me twice, but it's been about 6 months and only two sheds....

At 18 inches he should be eating fuzzies or possibly small hoppers.
If you've been feeding him pinkies - move to peach fuzzies first for at least 3 feedings or so before moving to fuzzies, or he may regurge.

Pinkies have very little nutritional value, they are appropriate for fresh out of the egg but you really should get them onto peach fuzzies as soon as you can.

It will amaze you the size of prey they can actually handle.
 
Small fuzzies, 5-7 grams to start. And it wouldn;t hurt to slit the prey (if it's F/T) so he can digest it easier and put on some weight.
 
Thank you guys a bunch. I'm going this weekend to pick up fresh new mice, so I'll get some small fuzzies if i can.

And sorry that I don't have anything to weigh him with. D:
 
Forget his weight and the prey's weight; I think people put too much emphasis on this anyways. Feed him something that is 1.5x's the widest part of his body once a week, and he'll be fine.
