You know... I really don't like flies. Those are great pictures, but I could have done without seeing a fly in that much detail. lol

I love the flower picture with the tiny unknown bug in it.. .do you know what kind of flowers those are? They are so pretty...
 
Im really not sure Jenn... they were less than 1cm in diameter. Very dainty and beautiful though eh :)

They were growing in large, tall clumps.

Sorry about the fly shots folks, but they stay still long enough to photograph.
 
yes those flowers are very beautiful. I'm going to have to see if I can look them up. I'm guessing it could be some kind of wild flower.

And I can appreciate the beauty of the fly shots, and other bug photos, but it just makes the bugs creepier. Hard to balance between fascination and revulsion of the subject. lol I used to not be bothered that much by bugs - but over the years I've gotten squeamish.

All the pics are great!! but I really could have done without the bees...I HATE bees..They just scare me nearly to death for some reason..but great work overall
 
I just love your macro shots Elle. I really really really need to save some money and get myself a decent macro lens already.
