Finally--the REST of my bloodred clutch!

More pics!

Now they're really getting going! These hatchlings are more normally sized!

And here's a comparison of the 2g suspected hypo against a 7g normal bloodred. Just to show the size and color difference. Might be a few more hypo noses poking out, but I wanted to show how teeny this one is! Boy do I love the diffused gene. Love it, love it, love it!

I think I see an egg tooth in the 4th picture down of post 7!!

I'm wondering now if the runt isn't colored funny because it's a runt . . . I'm still hopin' and wishin' for more Hypo Bloods for you, but just a thought . . . (which I think may have been expressed in your other thread by someone else)

Oh. Yeah. If this isn't a hypo, I don't know what is! Looks to me like daddy is het hypo! Whohooo! Not the greatest diffusion ever, but that's what line breeding is all about. You've gotta start somewhere, and I really love the idea of growing my own phenomemal-looking snakes for myself.

I think I see that egg tooth too, Brent! I was able to capture one on the tiny hatchling as well. Nothing as good as what others have posted, but you can still clearly see it.

The rocks are what I incubate on. I put rocks or glass beads in the bottom of the container, add a little water to the container (not enough to touch the eggs), seal, and check on them when I remember. For me, the "substrateless" method makes sense, but I never wanted to buy a giant square of "egg crate" for the set-up when I knew I'd never need that much (and it's kind of pricey where I can find it). So I went with glass beads/decorative rocks instead, which spend their alternate lives as decorations in clear vases around the house the rest of the year.

Oh man. I'm psyched for this clutch. I bred last year as a test run, but these are morphs I actually care about! It sure is fun! :D

Here's hypo number two--this one full sized at 7g. And then a picture of the hypo and normal 7g hatchlings beside each other.

HERE are the right pictures! :headbang:
