My day at the zoo *picheavy*

After 23 years here in NYC, I am finally moving and heading down south, so before I go I want to do all the things I never did here before. Im a total tourist now. Today we went to the central park zoo!

Of course the animals I spent the most time with are the ones who do absolutely nothing, the REPTILES!

There were some other highlights too...

Monkey grooming time..

Gus, the polar bear was out like a light and snoring LOUD, with his favorite toy very close by.

This is the Toucan whos feet hit me in the head when he flew by LOL They have an indoor rainforest, and the moment you walk in you could die. Its like 105 degrees and 100% humidity, but thats where all the animals worth seeing are. Its just birds and rodents running and swinging around completely free.

On to the bat cave where its completely dark and you can barely see inside. My friend gets close to the glass and says 'Oh look theres a bat right there hanging' I get the bright idea to flash the glass to see it, and wahla, alot more then A bat. You can imagine how fast I moved on to something else.

On to the reptiles...They had all the boas in the same exibit as the frogs, is that a no-no?

And right before we left we caught feeding time for the sea lions. At 5 after 4 these guys are hilarious. Their feeding time is late and they jump up on the side of the tank and start barking and looking like Uh Hello?. It was cute.
