Rich,

Thay one is pretty dark colored. I was wondering if this one was lighter in color as a hatchling and got darker as it matured. I posted a pic. of my yearling in the photo gallery.
Was yours this lighter color as a yearling?

Walter

Heck Walter, if you were to sneak into my building and take photos of many of my animals, then show them to me asking if they were mine, I couldn't tell you. I take care of the babies until they get to be just over a year or so old. Then the guys working with me take them over for weekly cleaning and feeding. I probably won't see them again until it comes time to breed them two years later. I have gotten some significantly pleasant surprises when I finally saw some of those animals again!

So sorry, but no, I have no idea what this particular animal looked like as a baby. But if my experience with the Caramel Motleys is any guide, they probably all looked the same as babies. Some get dark and some get light.

Rich,

Gottcha, I was just curious. I'm wondering if mine will darken any as he matures. He actually seems to have gotten a little lighter in color, but the yellow coloration has for sure intensified.

Walter
