Yeah folks, I just did an impulse buy today. I went in to buy Rats and she had this wee lil hypo hondo for sale.

But can some one else tell me why I got him??? why did I fall into this trap??

LOL. There's a local store just down the road... less than 3 miles away. EVERY time I go there, I look at their hondo. Haven't bought it YET, but I can understand the impulse you failed to fight off.

As a matter of fact, I have my pair of Avalanches that I did buy impulsively... from that same store! LOL.

I think it was a good thing! He's GORGEOUS!

Duh! It's because you have a trip planned heading up North, and will be dropping him off at my place. Not only do you have a terrible addiction to snakes, but you also have short term memory loss problems.

I fell into the same trap about 3 or 4 years ago. Unfortunatly mine escaped, as all the best in my collection seem to do. :cry:

He was last seen living under the hot tub. I was moving out of the house he escaped in when the people working in the back yard announced they'd found a very beautiful snake under the hot tub.. and that they'd put it in the garden. :realhot: As I frantically ran out to the backyard they said "oh you should be able to find him real easy". Ya... I don't think they quite understood.. He's probably still living happily somewhere outside in that backyard! :uzi: I've since quit buying snakes over $300...
 
hey.. i kinda did an impulse buy today.. except i was wanting one.. i finally got that leucistic texas rat! lol, i went to get mice and saw some. lol so i kinda pulled the same trick.

LOL that is true, I held off getting an adult Sinolan roughly the same price I picked this guy up for. I thought to myself at the time, well i needed a male for my female, lets see what happens in the future.
This guy better not go the way of my tri-colored that went walk about a few years ago and found dead in my basement.
