Well, I have wanted one of these since I saw them in the reptile magazines in the early '90s. When the right price came along, I jumped and I am glad I did. I think he is just magnificent! He is a Kahl strain albino born on June 20 of 2008 and is settling in nicely! Here are a few pics I snapped as I was putting him in his new home to get settled in. Sorry, they're not the best quality, but we were both pretty excited!

I usually try to avoid the larger, heavier bodied snakes... but that one makes me want one!!! LOL. Congrats. He's outstanding!

Wow beautiful! I don't like most snakes/animals with slit (elliptical?) pupils, but that one's eyes are gorgeous! Just beautiful!

That snake is really beautiful, but I like to stick to snakes I can handle easily by myself... But I'd love to have a boa or a burmese someday, when I have more room and someone willing to help me with it...:D

I'll say he's magnificent! Jen, why couldn't you handle a boa by yourself???

Eddie, will we be seeing you at Daytona?

They get big and make me kinda nervous... But they are beautiful... Maybe I'll get one later once I read more about them...

Excuse me for sounding thick but what species is this? :S

He's an albino Colombian Boa Constrictor (BCI).

Unfortunately, I will not be at Daytona this year, but I am going to try to make it next year!

Thanks everybody!!! I think we're going to call him Elvis.

Fatastic looking snake there! Congrats on the new addition!

Not to be insensitive to your people's situations but I just had to say all the big snake nervous talk really had me chuckling a little bit....I'm sorry, I know not everyone is into the big stuff, I think I just found it amusing because I'm, so used to it.....anyways took a little side trip there..LOL

There fun as hell "Goldtop" you'll enjoy that one for years to come!

Beautiful! Makes me that much more excited about getting mine! Oh- and did I say beautiful? LOL Congrats!!

One Hell of an Albino Boa dude.

Keep care of here!
Nice addition gongrats

Thanks everyone! I was a bit worried about switching him from the live mice he's been eating to f/t rats, but apparently he just wants food. Gobbled up the thawed rat like a pro!!!

Thanks again for all the comments!!!
