Around Here Somewhere....
Ok - here we go - my shots from Daytona...
I apologize in advance that some of them did not come out well but about 1/2 way through Saturday the flash on my camera crapped out and I didn't bring my other one. Really aggravated me but I tried to make do with manual settings (of which I am not very good).

Daytona was, as always, absolutely awesome! The variety of animals available is just mind boggling. I did find that this year I spent a lot more time chit-chatting with everyone and not as much time looking at everything and taking photos - but that is ok. I really enjoy getting a chance to see everyone and find that after a few years I actually look forward more to that than the show itself.

I will start with the dinner shots since I haven't quite finished the show shots yet...

I love them all!! It's so great to see more "face" pics, too. Looks like you all had a fabulous time!

This was some kind of evul hibrid - I believe a red tail green ratsnake x green racer. Whatever it was - it was huge, beautiful and offered the best tongue shots ever. It wouldn't put its tongue back in its mouth - just kept doing a "slow motion tasting" of everything!

I have a lot more I still have to edit so keep an eye out for most posts either later tonight or maybe tomorrow (I am really exhausted!)

Wow. Thanks for the pics... I'm particular to the Asian Ratsnake (hybrid?). He looks amazing. I was going to try to find one that looked like him (he's on someone else's "Daytona" photos too), so I'm glad that you mentioned he's a hybrid.

Thank you for sharing!

Fantastic photos as usual Katie! I'm looking forward to the rest too :D

It's great to put some more faces to the usernames and everyone looks so happy :)

Walter looks like The Commish (there was another show the guy was in which was more popular, but I don't remember)... Sexy. Everyone looks like they had fun and all those pics are great.

Thanks for all your effort in making the get together so enjoyable. Next year we'll need a banquet hall! Great pics!
Terri

After a good nights sleep that I desperately needed I am back to editing show photos. I actually took more than I thought I did considering my camera issues...

I can't wait to see the picture of Lindsey Pike's uro!! He always has the most amazing Ornates. That ivory blood was gorgeous. I would love to know what she felt like.
