Sorry about the post in Cornsnake chit-chat,
I meant to post it here, but I was in hurry though.
Anyways, I say that there will be a flood pictures
going to be post up in here, to see how it was.
Well, I tried to find a good picture of our back yard where the river
is, but I couldn't find it so I must say, the river was nearly dried up.
It's about 30+ feet deep from my house to the bottom, but
it's only about 40 feet away from my house so, what you are going to see
is very shocking, and insanly crazy!
The road near my house, broke down, because of
some guys were supposed to put brand new tunnel under the
road for the river, but they just slided it in. They were supposed to
replaced the old one with brand new so there won't be any space between
old and new ones. What happened was the river pushed the new ones out and nearly broke down the road but the old one was supporting the road.
Anyways, here's the pictures!!

This is about half hour later than the picture above this, and it completely surrounded our house, and the water is only 4" deep.

The flood DID touch the bottom of the bridge after this one, and the
bridge is only over 30+ feet tall!!!!
IT'S CRAZY!!!!

This is my idiot neighbor who called 911 just to pull him out of his camper when completely surrounded by water, and it was pretty deep too...

I wish I could have the picture of the road where it broke down, and also
the last house where it was half-way under the water, you only can see top of the window and the roof, that's it...
We are REALLY lucky that we live on higher ground than everybody.
All it matters that we are alive, and also our snakes is too! lol

I'm glad you, your family (including snakes) are okay! Did your house completely survive or was there damage?

Everything is okay, thank god the water didn't go inside the house and the shed too.
I tried to save a mole, but it sadly died due to the stress.

I could've gotten more pictures, but I had to go to work @ 4, and my g/f took
a picture where the flood is about 7" and about half way to get into my house, but
nothing's damaged at all.

Yeah, I told my stepdad that we need to build Noah's Ark when flood was rising really fast. Everybody started to laugh, and enjoyin' drinking beers and shooting at rats with slingshot. We didn't want any rats coming to our house, so he want to kill everyone of them.
