Wanna pet my Snake?
Hi all,
So i'm sure some of you have heard me talk about the Kent State Biology Club.
We now have a corn snake, ball python, 2 red eared sliders, a golden gecko, numerous fish, 2 blue tongued skinks, and now a red tail boa!
Any way, I had a question, it seems as if the past owners of the red tail boa has tried to keep the size of the snake down by not feeding it so much. I think it is 3-4 years old but seems to be pretty small for a 3-4 year old. Being under fed, would this stunt her over all growth? Or will it just slow her/him down from getting to be full grown?
Right now, she/he is about 4 feet and eating medium rats. So, I thought that was small.. I could be wrong though. I thought I'd ask though since it seems like a lot of people have some Red Tails.
Thanks alot!!!
