I have had this idea about using the plastic spindle box things that you get dvd-r and dvd-rw in, might be an old idea might be new?
I turned them upside down and used a 10 pack one for the bottom hide with moss in it, the one stacked on top was the 25 pack(cut the spindle out) and I have put stones,moss and water in that one and I was going to put another on top with some substrate for burrowing (aspen,soil?). Cut a hole or 2 in the side for entry/exit. There easy to remove and clean and Apollo has used both of the environments now and seems to like them!
Can anyone see any problem in using these if so let me know.

ps. Everything has been cleaned and also all rough edges have been filed.
