ok so my corn pooed for the first time, he did it on the viv glass with is lucky cos i wouldnt have spotted it otherwise its very small. What i want to know is do i now have to clean out the whole viv or just the area around where he's pooed?

You can just clean the area around the poop. Make sure to do a full cleaning every month.

Yep, just the area of the poo. Also don't stress out if you can't find it sometimes, it's hard to find when they are so little. Just do your best to spot clean and change it all once a month. :D

I don't mean to disagree, but i hear a lot of people saying to spot clean and clean their entire viv once a month. I have read some caresheets, such as the one from Petco, that claim you only need to fully clean the tank every two months. I know it's better to clean it every month, which is what i'll probably do, but are you people saying every month as a suggestion. Or are you saying any longer than a month is way too long to be leaving a "dirty" tank?

Jimmy, would you want to sleep in something that you have pooped and peed in for a month or two months? Even with spot cleaning it gets dirty in there. Best do it once a month.
