gorgeous shot,
I particularly like the fact that they all wear matching eye shadow.

I love those pewters!!!!

These bloodred lines are one of the best looking corns!!!!!

So, Pewters are from the bloodred line... what do you mix with the bloodred to get pewter?

They are gorgeous. I want one!

pewters

Hey Rich,
I ordered a pair of pewters when you had that 50% off deal going. Now, I know you are busy. I was one of the last orders, I think number 60. I was wondering if this is the only clutch you are expecting. After seeing this picture, I want them even more. I am ust afraid you won't have enough by the time you get to my order. I understand if you don't have time to reply to this, I know you have the show coming up and you have 59 more orders ahead of mine. It just seems like eternity waiting for an email from you saying my order is ready.

Thanks Charlene Dourty

I am working on the orders, but there are snags in just about each and every one. I have a large number of orders being held up because the blasted Candy Canes haven't even pipped yet.

I think I do have another couple of clutches of Pewters, plus some will come out of some multi-het breedings as well.

The cultivars holding up orders at this moment are:

Candy Canes
Hypo Blood Reds
Charcoal Ghosts
Hypo Lavenders

Plus some odd ball hets that I don't even know if I will produce or not. Things like Motley het Caramel, Lavenders het Motley, Amelanistic het Blizzard, and Charcoals het Hypo Pewter.

PS - this is not an all inclusive list. Just ones I can think of off the top of my head.

I had an entire clutch of Lavenders het Motley (14 eggs) go down the tubes while incubating.

Oh well. As quickly as I can I am going to be shipping out orders. Of course, things will go into a tail spin right around the Daytona Expo in two weeks. But afterwards probably a boatload of clutches will have hatched and I will be able to fill orders quickly.

fill ins

Rich,
If you do run out of a cultivar or don't produce a certain animal. How will you go about refunding money or replacing it with an animal of equal value. Like say you run out of the pewter before my order and you have some lavendar het opal...could I just get a pair of lavendar het opal instead of the pewters or would you refund my money? And if you don't produce something like the amel het blizzard, could you replace it with a caramel or charcoal?

Thanks Charlene Dourty

I will give the person the option to do whatever they want if I can't deliver what they want. I certainly do expect this will happen a few times this year.

WOOO-HOOOO!

I know you said that this was not an all-inclusive list, but at least the four I ordered (2 morphs) were not the ones that came readily to mind as your 'hold-ups'.

Also, I would imagine that getting the right SEXES for everyone might be a hold-up, too.

I had a clutch that was predominantly FEMALES this year.
And, wouldn't you know it - the only reservations I had for that clutch were for MALES!

We have faith in you, though, Rich.
And we can wait patiently. :)

Ouch... I hate it when that happens. I had a huge amount of interest in the amels het snow blood motley I was planning on producing this year... unfortunately the male amel blood didn't do his job properly, and all I wound up with were duds. :p It's always the most interesting clutches that have problems...

Well, no, I shouldn't say that... I had most of the eggs die from a ghost X anery het ghost pairing too... It just SEEMS like the interesting clutches fail more. Oh well... there's always next year.

Any idea when those hypo lavs ought to be pipping? :)

Not to highjack this thread, but my incubator failure cost me clutches from the following pairings:

Bloodred het amel x Banded Motley
Motley Snow x Anery het amel
and Crimson x Crimson

About 50 eggs in all . . .somewhere around $1000 - $1200 worth of babies easily.

Oh well, in the same vein as my beloved CHIEFS let me just say, "We'll get 'em next year!"

Actually, THIS is the year for the CHIEFS . . . Sorry all you Fader fans!
