I bet you guys get enough of these to last a lifetime, eh? :)

So in a month or so I plan on bringing along a corn snake. I've researched for a long time and looked at pretty much everything I can to prepare myself, haha. :) But, I do have a question. A lot of people I talk to who keep snakes say a rubbermaid is better because glass gets cold really easily. Well, my house stays kind of cool in the winter. So I though that'd be good.

About what size rubbermaid (qt. size) would be good for a hatchling and what size for an adult?

Shoe box size is good for hatchlings and for the first year or so. 32 quart sweater boxes are good for adults.

If you have an Under Tank Heater like a heat mat, glass is fine too. In fact, glass will be room temperature, same as the Rubbermaid.

Thanks a lot. I have an empty ten gallon, but I just didn't want that to be TOO much room and overwhelm the snake. The one I'm hoping for is only about a foot long. :)
