Ok, so I did get a new snake but...

Jay has posted all the pictures of them! As some of you have already seen, Jay posted ALL the pictures of OUR new snakes from the New England Reptile Expo this past Saturday.

We did pick up the White Oak Grey Rat male for my Wiley girl. A very big Sunkissed male cornsnake that we should have picked up in April, but he was still waiting for us! My daughter Ashley was looking for a present for Jay and asked me if he had seen anything special. I told her about the King Rat and I took her to see the snake. She thought it was cool and I asked about the price and I offered to split it with her.

I am not able to post any cool pictures of our new snakes because Jay just had to do all! But I will take and post the new pictures of the King Rat girl once she sheds! She has a great disposition and had not musk for us at all. I guess she feels safe here with us! I think she will be among my favorite snakes.

Ashley picked up a sweet lil guy. An amel aztec male. Ashley bred her huge six foot male to our Kathy Love Okeetee in 2007 and she got a real nice zig zag amel female out of it. These babies are on the big size as well. She was the only amel in the mix. Proving that her male was het amel! It was a fun first project for her. Now she has been looking for just the right male for "Ziggy" for over a year now. She loves the color orange, so amels fit her bill perfectly! She wants to breed and produce aztec/zig zag amels. Looks like she is well on her way now! Here are a few pictures of "Jaggs".

I'm always amazed by your and Jay's pictures! They're so beautiful!! Was your daughter the younger woman standing at the PJC table at the show?

I can't wait to see the results of her project!!
 
haha Jaggs is a cute name. I love the third picture. very nice amel :) That was a nice sunkissed you both picked up too. I saw that on jay's thread.

Hey guys that's definitely a beauty! Just wanted to let you know that the anery het opal and the ghost I picked up from you are doing great! The ghost is in shed right now so she didn't eat last night but the anery ate like a champ and they're settling in really well :D. Thanks again!

Thank you! We both love using the camera, but I am still more of the old 35 mm kinda girl! And yes, the younger woman with the short hair is my daughter Ashley! She has been looking hard for the right male for Ziggy. I will have to get some pics of them both for everyone to see. Besides, Susan Willis will enjoy seeing Ziggy again...LOL.

LOL, I would have to say both! I created the photo monster so I guess I shouldnt complain. I have always had my Canon AE-1 since 1984 and he wanted to learn. Than we got the digital and it was all over! Saves on film though...haha. I know, it was just a matter of who got to the computer first! I was putting everyone back in their bins and watering while Jay was posting. It's all good. I will have my day...hehehe.

Absolutely :D. I meant to grab my digital camera from my girlfriend and take some pics last night but I forgot :shrugs: lol. I'm thinkin about making a progression thread for the ghost just because she is just such a beauty and I'm looking forward to seeing how she holds her color as she grows up :grin01:
