My newest babies from T and J Corns

Evening everyone,

Thought I would share several pictures of my newest babies. I have found myself drawn to Rootbeers! I had the pleasure getting a 2007 trio of Roobtbeers het hypo from Tim and Jennifer much earlier this year. I have just enjoyed seeing them change and grow. So I was looking to get the anery gene in with the Rootbeers and Tim had happened to produce some Rootbeers het anery also het amel OR ultra . I wanted a pair and they arrived today. Along with the Rootbeers het anery, I have the pleasure of now owning one of their "Creamsickos"! He is awesome and I am now more in love with these animals then ever before.

So without further ado, here is the Creamsicko male (pictures 1-6), the Rootbeer het anery, amel/ultra male (pictures 7-11) and the Rootbeer het anery, amel/ultra female (pictures 12-16). They dont have names yet, but I will post all my rootbeers in our forum soon with all their names! Thanks for taking the time to looking!!! Have fun.

PJ :wavey:

Beautiful babies guys! That last rootbeer has some lovely yellow. It will be interesting to see the progression on that one. The creamsicko is almost identical to my girl. Maybe one day many moons from now, they should have a date. ;)

No caramel in the genes as far as I know... Just a rootbeer from rootbeer X ultramel.. Some odd colouration on them though.. Wait till they grow a little.. PJ.. I am gald you liked to offerings.. *lol* The Sicko was one of the ones that to me looked/appeared much like a "normal" looking ultramel, however I suspect as it ages the colouration will change, but some of them had a butterscotch appearance to them.. Should be cool for some intresting projects in a few years..

Regards.. Tim of T and J

PJ, I love those rootbeers!! (I didn't even know there was a morph called rootbeer before this -oops, my newbieness is showing-!!!) but they are gorgeous!! congrats!

Gorgeous, PJ and Jay! Congrats!

Thank you hun!

The last one's lovely... Is it a caramel?

Congrats!!

NOPE, not a caramel as Tim said. She is a very pretty Rootbeer with some interesting hets for the future!

Thank you Tim! She is a bit different! I will keep you up dated on her progress, that's for sure. As for my Sicko, he can do what he wants, I like him. Should be fun to prove him out and such when he is older. Yummy, I love butterscoth a lot!!

Thank you! Rootbeers are hybrids between Normal corns and Emoryi rats. They will be separate from our corn stock. I have a pretty good Rootbeer and Emoryis collection growing now. I should make a post in our forum. Dont worry about being a newbie, I learn something new everyday with my animals!!!

Thank you everyone for checking them out...darn, where did Brent's comment go...

I know Brent, didnt think I wanted to get into them myself but my mind kept thinking about Rootbeer morphs and the opportunity came up and I went with it! NO crossing here with the others, maybe a few project babies over the years but that's it.

Looks as though one of them decided a change of clothes was in order for their new home?!?

Yup she did get all prettied up for Jay!!

Thanks Brent,
PJ :wavey:

I am the same way.. I have a few rootbeer projects.. Not going to go out of my way to create lots of rootbeer projects myself.. What we have is destined for their own projects, and not mixed into my general population of "pure" corn stock...

You know what? (I hate even typing this out . . . which makes it more real.) The more I see a jungle corn here and there . . . ack! I feel myself getting sucked in closer and closer . . . the only thing that I feel let's me justify even thinking about picking one up (I only said "thinking") is that they looking nothing like a cornsnake and I'm only interested in the looks and not breeding them. That makes it OK right?!
