Once bad shed always bad?

The girl I got from Petco shed again last night or half attempted it once again. Humidity in her tank is fairly standard at 50 since she went in blue last week I put a larger dish in there and the humidity rose to avg 65. My reverse went into blue about the same time, they both were blue for almost a week then eyes cleared the same day and it would have been the 2night after clearing that they both shed......(kind of funny cause my wifes girl shed same night also) They ones that we got from a reputable breeder have shed perfect, just the first girl I got at Petco is having issues. She shed the 2nd night she was in our house and I put her in a wetbox when it went bad. Had to do the same thing again this time. Will she always have trouble shedding? I tried putting a jar in this time also with some wet substrate and she just wouldn't stay in it so figured humidity would have been good.

Thanks for any advice,
Chaotic

Next time she goes blue, cover her viv loosely with plastic wrap and mist. You can't make them stay in a moist hide if they don't want to.

It might take a couple sheds to get better... I have a snow that used to ALWAYS have a bad shed... so when it went blue, I would give it a bath as soon as I noticed. Then, I'd give it another one a few days later. That way the skin is nice and hydrated for the shed. He sheds perfectly now... LOL.

One of mine had a bad shed shortly after I got her. For several shed cycles, I misted daily when she's blue and kept a towel across the viv's screen top. The first shed following the bad one wasn't perfect, but the last few have been completely fine.

Good I didn't want to have to always lock her up in the wet box I made for her. How high of humidity is too high? Talking just during shed cycle. I didn't want to go much higher then the 65 cause still a newbie with snakes. Would letting her go for a 5 min swim a night be good once she goes blue at least until I get one good shed out of her? Also I'm pretty sure she wasn't being feed properly because I bought a scale once we got the four new snakes so I could put them on the munson plan. She weighed 8.9 my male weight 13.2. Weighed them last night and she jumped up to 13.7 and he is 14.6. Feeding every 6days same size pinks (avg prey weight 2-3g) so was thinking she wasn't getting enough nutrition before I got her.
