okay so i believe there is enough interest in this whole calendar idea, so let's give it a try! here are the rules for the calendar contest!
there are a ton of wonderful photographers here on CS.com, and we want to see all your best photos!! you can even do a theme, such as pose your snakes with hearts for February, or shamrocks for March, and tinsel and christmas trees for december! and my favorite, you can even post them snaking in and out of pumpkins for october! what will happen is photos will be collected until November 8th (not a lot of time i know, but if this is a success it will be organized much better next year!) and then the voting will begin! there will be an individual poll thread for each month's voting, and the photo submission with the most votes will be included in the calendar!
ALL PHOTOS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN NOVEMBER 8th. 2008!!!
RULES:
1. All photos submitted for voting on CS.com must be no bigger than 800x600 pixels.
2. At the end of voting, i will ask the winning photographer to send me a high-res version of the photo for publication.
4. Photos cannot have watermarks or other labels (company names) printed on them.
5. Members may only submit one photo for each month, for a maximum of 12 photos per member.
6. When you submit a photo, you must label which month you are submitting it for, or it will be excluded from voting.
7. If photos do not meet the size and resolution requirements, they will be excluded from being entered in the contest.
8. When photo submission is over, there will be individual threads posted for each month, and we will all vote!
9. All winning photos will have the name of the photographer published with the calendar photo.
again i say, the deadline for collecting photos is NOVEMBER 8th! any photos posted after this unfortunately won't be considered for voting, simply because there is not enough time!
