People sometimes bathe their snakes because they are worried about mites, or, because they think their snake might be constipated and they want to help loosen it up. But, be careful not to hold your snake too long after bathing it in warm water no matter what you're bathing it for, because, I've done that before, not knowing that it was constipated, and it defecated alllll over me. It was gross.

If it's having a hard time shedding, you can bathe it in warm water as well and it will help loosen it up. That way you can avoid the shed accumulating on it's tail.

Bathing is usually used to help sort out constipation or to give exercise if a Corn is overweight.

A more common way to sort out a bad shed, is to use a humid hide rather than a bath.

If yours doesn't have a problem, then I wouldn't worry about bathing. I've never bathed any of mine and they don't seem to have suffered.
