minumum rack tub size for adult corns

im looking to buy racks from reptile basic, and need help figuring out which qt size tubs ill need to house my corns properly. how much space do they actually need. i really just want them to be happy with their new homes...thanks for the help

This is just my opinion, but if you really wanted them to be happy with their house you wouldn't keep them packed away in sterilite containers like bad wedding presents. That being said, I believe most breeders use 36 qt tubs, but I'm no expert on that type of enclosure.

Most people use 28 or 32 qt. tubs... Some people have racks that hold 66qt. tubs also.
It just depends on how much space you have and how much room you want your snakes to have.:)

I have heard many people more qualified than I say what minimum size that snakes are happy in, but I have racks, and I keep snakes as a hobby, not as a business. In other words, I don't need to have a thousand snakes in a certain sized area.
I've seen snakes freak out and they wouldn't stop freaking out until I put them is bigger tubs. After I moved them, they were OK with it again.
I don't know if something was unacceptable with their tub, but I just attributed it to a too small tub. Maybe that's not it, I don't know.
I keep hatchlings in 12qt rubbermaids.
I keep juvies in 28qt rubbermaids.
I keep adults in cb70 tubs, they seem to like the extra space.
I just love the ARS cb70 tubs with the deli cup holder already built-in. Smooth bottoms, no ribs, and rounded corners.

I should also mention that I don't keep only corns, but milks, kings, etc.
Some of the kings and milks are bigger snakes than corns, but some corns can get pretty big.
I also spend a lot of time with my animals, rather than just checking them once a day. I tend to take note of things, like a snake that appears stressed.

There are many experts that have been keeping hundreds or thousands of snakes sucessfully long before I was born, and doing it smaller areas than the tubs I'm using. I'm just throwing in my 2 cents.

My rack uses 32qt tubs, and one of my larger adult corns seems to like it just fine. The plus side to the racks (especially if you get a dark one) is the whole tub is pretty much a hide and they feel a lot more comfortable.

I use 41qt stacked lengthwise to keep the unit close to the wall. 41's give them the ability to stretch out which they do quite a bit.
