i get my pinkies from my pet shop they are all frozen togeather and every week i try to get a pinkie if i try to get one pinkie off they keep on breaking on me they are frozen solid they pinkies are costing alot like and keep falling apart and feeding the corn half a pink or missing parts any ideas how i can get the pinkies apart beside breaking them???? if i defrost them can i freeze them again?? heads wrecked over it because i dunno if im feeding mhy corn enough

It's not a good idea to refreeze them... But, I personally would leave them out for about 5 minutes when you first get them (pinkies defrost really fast) so they're not defrosted but not as frozen solid and maybe you can separate them then...

I'm sure the experts will be around to help answer your question...

when you go to buy the pinkies, look for a bag with pinkies that arent stuck together. they stick together when moisture gets in the bag, between the pinkies. the moisture causes them to stick together the same as when you lick a frozen pole. This moisture could be from them thawing out a little on your ride home. maybe put them in a cooler if you are really conserned about it. or, you can always buy bags that only have one mouse in each bag. that way they dont have others to stick too.

i highly doubt that missing a leg or a tail would subtract very much nutritious value from the pinkies, as they (the legs and tail) are very small in comparison to the rest of the body. you should be fine as long as your feeding it the right prey size

I get my Pinkies from:

http://www.bigappleherp.com/

I don't know if they deliver to Ireland, but you can cruise the internet and see for ones that do. I got a bag of 100 and they are all in one bag, but they aren't stuck together at all! Shipping was awesomely packed!

I was buying from pet stores too and aside from the price being almost $2.00 a pink they looked gross and were all stuck together!

From the internet they look real healthy and I got 100 for about $65.00 (including shipping). This broke down to .65 a piece! You can see the savings!

Hope this helps!
