Has been the times when I put him over his water dish before putting him back in his tank?

lol, is this normal? its weird to hold him while he is drinking. But as I have heard, he probably drinks when I am asleep.
 
Looks like you just answered your own question... If he knows where the water bowl is, I'm sure he is drinking when your sleeping or not looking. If he's acting normally, I wouldn't worry about it.

I actually was worried about this when I got my first corn and I still rarely see any of mine drink but every once in awhile I do catch them at it and they're all healthy, eating and defecating... So I'm not worried about it.
 
Yup! No worries :) They can be secretive drinkers...i see mine drink occasionally, but not often.
 
Is it alright for me to lower him near his water and have him drink while on my hand?

that's all need to know i guess
