Cleaning poop off of wood?

What is the best way..?

It's a rough wooden hide, so the poop gets in all the cracks..

I tried soaking it in water like told on here, but the stains are still all over.

and i think some poop is too?

any other suggestions?

Maybe i should get a new smoother hide for easier cleaning...

When I have poopy wood I Turn the shower on full blast and as hot as it will get and give it a good shower. Cleans up real good. ;-)

Soaking in just water won't do much.

Give it a scrub in a mixture of bleach and water. I never measure but most people recommend 1 part bleach to 10 parts water.

Just be sure to rinse the bejeezus out of it afterwards, as well.

Get a washing up brush and give the hide a good scrub after disinfecting/soaking. Soaking will loosen the poop, but you need something that will reach into those hard-to-reach places.
