Ringer Ball Python

I would like another Ringer BP but I have no idea where to get one. I've searched for one but I can not find any for sale. I would like a female for my male but I would probably take a male too. Anyone know where I would be able to get one?

Thanks a lot for any help.

Urgh. This is going to bother me FOREVER! Before I got my ball, I looked at a site where a guy was selling tons of snakes he was 'weeding out'. He had three or four odd ringers which he was sure were not PB or otherwise genetic. One of them had a white tail. I'm going through my URLs right now, and if I find it, I will post it ASAP.

Thanks a lot, I liked one of them but I'd like one with a bit more white. But I did see a female one there that caught my interest.

You might try searching the term "poor man's pied" or variations of that, as it is a popular term for ringers.

I was a tad bit disappointed by their markings too. They don't really stand out. But that's what makes them affordable, and if this trait is genetic... ;)

Ringers show up unexpectedly, it isn't a recessive gene.

I should have thought of that. I will try searching that.

Some people believe otherwise, Tsthompson. I don't believe anything specific, really. I did have a friend who bred two ringers and got three hatchlings with the same markings. That was what took me from being completely skeptical to halfway. ;)

You can believe what you want but facts speak for themselves. As previously stated it has already been proven that this is not a recessive gene at work. It is also proven to be not codom. I'd say your friend was pretty lucky!
