• Hello!

Either you have not registered on this site yet, or you are registered but have not logged in. In either case, you will not be able to use the full functionality of this site until you have registered, and then logged in after your registration has been approved.

Registration is FREE, so please register so you can participate instead of remaining a lurker....

Please be certain that the location field is correctly filled out when you register. All registrations that appear to be bogus will be rejected. Which means that if your location field does NOT match the actual location of your registration IP address, then your registration will be rejected.

Sorry about the strictness of this requirement, but it is necessary to block spammers and scammers at the door as much as possible.

We can't delete our old posts anymore?

I usually delete my photo threads in the photo gallery after a few days and when I tried to delete one just now, it said I don't have permission to do it.
Is this a recent change that I missed?

Re:

Is it possible you clicked "Edit" on someone else's post? I've done that myself a few times, and wonder why I can't delete my own posts.

I'd try it again, and if that doesn't work, well then I haven't the foggiest.

Re:

Weird.

The only thing I'm having problems with at the moment is on some pages the vertical banners on the right hand side squish the forum into a 2-3 inch strip on the far left side. So far it's only the banner with the rotating red letters, Herpshows.com. It seems to be having some issues.

Here's a pic of what it looks like everywhere:

I haven't had that problem before...Maybe the forums are running amuck, just like Rich right now with all those hatchlings....I wonder if anybody else is having problems???

I made this change a little bit ago. There were a few active threads on this site that I would have preferred to have remained, but with the way it was previously set up, whomever started the thread had the power to delete the entire thread, including ALL of the messages anyone else posted within it.

Not sure this is the best way to prevent that from happening, but it put the brakes on it until I have time to think of a better way to handle it.

Ok, I was just wondering because I'm in the habit of deleting my old threads (mostly the photo ones) once they get to the 3rd or 4th pages since I'm pretty sure no one reads them after that.
