hi all can you please tell me how often reaper my corn snake should be fed he is about a year old and takes small mice. i feed him once a week on one small mouse is this ok :)

I feed mine once a week and they seem to be fine with that. I think its recommended to feed them every 7-10 days so I guess it just depends on your snake and yourself! Dont feed too often though...give your snake time to digest his/her meal otherwise it'll likely regurge. If you and your snake seem happy enough feeding once a week then stick to that!

Yeah, like Rachel said, for a yearling once week is fine. Hatchings and juveniles can be fed more often but adults only need to be fed once every10-14 days. Yours isn't quite an adult yet so a small mouse once a week sounds fine.

What do you mean by "small mouse?" Do you mean a small adult mouse? If so, that is plenty.

How long is your snake?

Peter
