Totally stole the name from a girl on here that named her Corn Sniper, but it fits, and I like it...

So here is Sniper, my baby BP that my little brother gave me after Sky passed away...
She is really mellow compared to some other baby BP's that I have seen...and she is a great eater.
Unfortunately whoever Drew got her from at the last show was feeding live, and Drew (my lil bro) hadn't switched her over yet, so that is my first task...

She is 112 grams...no length on her yet...
Here are some feeder pics, my brother dropped her off earlier this evening and went ahead and fed her...

I am pretty sure the breeder got it right, not sure how he sexed her before the sale, but I think the shorter the tail after the vent=female?

Congrats on your new girl, she's beautiful.

My BP is a WC and he eats F/T so hopefully she won't give you to much trouble trying to switch her over, good luck.
 
She is beautiful! Good luck switching her to f/t, I bought a 2 year old ball from a show that was only fed live and I had no problems switching over to f/t.

Sooo....I believe I just successfully popped Sniper!!!! I am so excited/proud :) lol
I watched the video from Ralph Davis about a billion times, and decided to give it a try...I am now 100% sure that Sniper is a she! Yay...now I know what I need to look for at the next show :)

Oh she's adorable! I love how cute baby balls are, but I love how fat they look when they're bigger. I think I might have to grab myself a little ball soon :D
 
Nice one Josh! I have grown to be more "curious" about BP's now that I own one. LOL.

I'm glad that you gave us some sense of scale with that last pic (in your hands) because she looked HUGE in the previous pics. LOL.

Ya, in those close up feeding pics, its hard to tell how big the mouse is, which makes it hard to tell how big the snake is! Lol...
She is a "little" girl...I put 115 grams earlier, but I double checked my log from when I weighed her this morning and it was 117 grams.
(Over 100 grams bigger than Crush, my Amel) <haha!
