Portraits of my Daughter

tyflier

[Insert Witty Commentary]
I took my kidlet to the park this afternoon. After a bazillion under-exposed "action" shots...she finally settled down and let me get some portraits of her. Mind you...I didn't "pose" her...this is just her being herself. She was actually pretending to be a dog laying in front of the fireplace, but...don't tell anyone...

Anyhow...the black and white were shot in monotone. "Softness" was added during processing. I was shooting with a 40-150mm zoom lens, and using the on-board flash at 1/16th power with a diffusion shield for fill.

I think this is my absolute favorite picture I've ever taken...

It was starting to get chilly in this one. Her little cheeks and nose are getting red...

Thanks for taking the time to look!!

Nice pics.
They remind me of the quality and kind of pics you'd see already in the picture frame at the store. Like very professional.

Very high quality portraits. Your daughter is quite a natural in front of the lens. Guess we know who owns the looks in your family.;)

This is what your daughter will always look like to you...even when she thirty.

Ask Wade it it true....

She's so pretty! Lovely pictures...

Now who has a son on here around her age that we can introduce her to in about 15 years? ;)

She is a cutey and looks all types of angellic. Don't worry though i have one myself I know better haha. Nice shots macro is awesome for portraits especially of the wee ones.

Thanks, everyone, for the comments. Yea...she's a little cutie. She got ALL the god looks in the family, for sure...and she knows it...

Chris, it's all been said already, but she really is a stunningly beautiful child. Enjoy your blessings, and thanks for sharing.
