Hi there,
I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but don't know where else.
I see the "rep power" squares with other people, and apparently I even have one myself (haven't been here long yet). Can anybody tell my what they mean and how they get there?

On the bottom left of the screen is a set of scales, click them when you like a post and a box opens for you to leave a rep....
The more reps you have the more you can give......
 
Oh..... And if you go to User CP (Top left of the screen in the tool bar) you can click on that and see what the rep is for....
 
ah so I got that rep from somebody? Can I know from whom or is it anonymous?
I looked, but I don't seem to find that set of scales on the bottom left?
Can you say where exactly? because or it doesn't show here, or I'm getting blind...

Look directly under your name in the post above....
You got a green dot to the left then the scales then a warning triangle...
And to see who gave you the reps and a short message click User CP and then scroll down....
 
ok, little language confusion here. was looking for reptile scales LOL.

To look at the rep someone has given you, click where it says "user CP" in the grey box at the very top of the screen.

And when you get rep points from someone, is it costumary to send them a message or something? or not really?
