Snakes got new tubs...

Josh,
I really like these 15 Qt clip on tubs by Sterlite. I have a whole bunch, think i bought the store out. They were marked down to $3 where I am at. So I loaded up on them. I may be more this weekend.

Lol...There were $4 a piece here, and it was that or the "plain-jane" 12 qts...and I like the little bit of extra floor space w/the 15qt.

Ya I didn't want to have to buy bungees too...even though it was all cheap, including the mouse stuff...I didn't mean to spend that much :D Lol...less than $50 for EVERYTHING....soldering iron, velcro, tubs for snakes, and all the stuff for the mice...

Lovely tubs...my two were very similar for the hatchlings. I will take pics and post them :)

Are you straight on the heat source? I was slightly afraid the plastic would get melted, (though it never felt too hot and is somewhat thick).

LOL I went to Walmart again last night and picked up 10 of these tubs. We are talking about getting my geckos out of aquariums and putting them into these now.

Very cool...I would imagine they would work great for your geckos!!! My first herp was a leapard gecko when I was like...I can't even remember, 16 maybe? He was the shizznit, but at that time I wasn't aware that there were all kinds of cool forums online for him...

And Calift, on ANY kind of UTH you would have to regulate it, with a thermostat, or rheostat (I'm sure you know this already)...Even with a BP where your hot side is like, 93-94 it still won't melt it. I'm sure even with a UTH that is unregulated still wouldn't melt it...

I just did some Googling....ABS Plastic which is what most common, injection-molded plastic items are made of has a melting point of 221 (deg. F)...
