The photography forum I belong to is having their 1000th photo contest this week. For this contest, we can submit our best digital photo ever. Normally the photo challengs require the photo being taken during the week of the challenge.

I am having a very hard time picking just one photo. I am going to post a few of the options I am debating over here and if you could tell me which one you like best - hopefully it will help me decide what to enter. Since there is no specific topic for this challenge - I have a wide variety of photos to choose from.


Please hold comments until I post all photo options - going to take more than one post.

I probably have more that I could pick from - but if I keep looking for my "best/favorite" I will never narrow it down....

How to choose??? Those are all wonderful! My personal faves are the little girl at the beach and the bride/groom on the bike. Is that you?

That dragonfly is also amazing...and the butterfly...and the snakes...and...and...

LOL - you see my dilemma. I have no idea how to pick which is the "best" photo. And no, unfortunately not me on the bike. That was an old friend from high school - I shot her wedding.
 
OMG I don't know which to choose either. The bride and groom on the bike is trippy cool looking. The butterfly on the encelia flower is nice, but so is the dragonfly and the little girl is a cute BW photo. I liek the spiderweb too.. :) Sorry I am not more of a help..
 
I forced myself to narrow it down to 3, so here goes...
Number 1 for me is the Greybanded King. The colors popped and it just looks really beautiful. :)
Number 2 is the Dragonfly. :) It's just really beautiful.
Number 3 is the couple kissing. I thought that picture was really sweet. :)

If you could see the photos/photographers I compete against - I don't stand a chance of winning. I just like to place as high as I can. My best placing to date was 10th place.

And Dale - I actually have more shots of the same tiger "snarling" and yawning that I have never edited. I thought about cleaning up one of those too.

Keep 'em coming guys...all the feedback really helps!
 
Wow good luck Katie! They are all so good, but my Top 3 in order are the Canyon, Grey Banded King & the Dragon Fly.
 
Mine would be GBK (that one just reaches out and grabs you), then Dragonfly, then Canyon.
But I think I'd have to wedge Rattlesnake and Tiger and Couple Kissing (I'm not believing I'm going there, but it is nice) in there somewhere. :D ;)
 
Go with the grayband. I base my decision solely on it's uniqueness. I seriously doubt there will be anything else remotely like it.
 
My favorites:

1: Little girl at beach
2: Dragonfly
3: motion drag couple on the bike
4: rattlesnake

They are all beautiful though!! You are very talented!
