Took a small group of kids to DC

I took about 30 kids to DC. We live in Baltimore and many of the kids (and chaperones!) had never been to DC. I myself had never seen the white house or Washington Monument up close.

Here are a few pics. The kids were very excited and interested in seeing the museums and especially the White House. It seemed to thrill them that they were standing outside of the place where President Obama was probably working (I think he was in DC that day!)

Going downtown is always fun and never gets old with my kids nice pics! Eat any dirty water hot dogs? there the best seriously a must have when visiting the city.

That's a great thing to do with kids! We've had several trips chaperoning for schools. There's so much at the mall area for the kids to see and learn you can't go wrong. I'm there all the time and I don't get tired of it, we almost went today.

Very kewl! I've never had the opportunity to go to D.C. yet... and know I would love visiting... Perhaps sometime later in life... LOL.

Congrats on being able to share it with kids!!!

Wow... I went to my first couple of years in MD and went to high school in Gettysburg, PA... I used to love spending days just walking from monument to monument... I really miss DC these days...

Thanks for sharing.
