Today I helped a fellow reptile lover! :0)

Hooked for life!!
Well I saw a post on craigslist of someone who had gotten a ball python but didn't have any supplies for it. So I responded sending a care sheet and a list of some things I have but don't need. The kid responded (turns out he's 16) and was very thankful for the help and really respects my knowledge of snakes (although even I am learning new things everyday..LOL)

So the kid says he'll take all the supplies I'm offering him and am even giving him some frozen fuzzies to start him off with some food for the new snake..I just feel really proud of myself today and happy I was able to do a good thing :0) (and in the process empty out some supplies I don't need..lol)

From what he says, His friend had the snake and was going to release it in the local park, so he took it (after getting his mother's permission) and is now trying to get stuff together for it..He has a good head on his shoulders and I believe he will do well :0)

I have a BP that was rescued from a park in another part of the state. Our local herp group took it in. I'm glad this young man was wise enough to take it in and not allow his friend to be so stupid.
