Hi guys and gals,
I am dong a reasearch project for school and I need some sources on some rat snake info. I know alot but I can bet you guys know more! I have info on new worlds and Taiwans and King rats but I need some info on other Old world rats. Like the Japanese rat snake. The project is where I have to do a lesson on a cience topic I chose rat snakes and their life and how they live in the wild.
 
Good luck getting any info. You have proven time and time again you are the almighty, who knows everything there is regarded to snakes. Please do not try to get us to give you any info. You after all are the MASTER. Look it up yourself and do your own research, the rest of us have tried to give you info in the past which, because you didn't agree with you poo poo'd. PFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Well I don't know a lot off the top of my head. I say you do a search on google for the information. Use the latin names and cross reference a few places to make sure the info is correct.. THen you can also use those sites as references in the back of your report. THat is what I do when I need to find info on things. You could check out a few books at the library as well.. Good luck with your report :)
 
I second the library! I know our local library has a TON of books on rat snakes. They seem to be a popular subject for books. Our library system even has an online catalog so I can check before I even head out there to see what they have. Give that a try.

Why not start with the source.. Talk to your teacher for advice or your parents. Your teacher is there to help you.

thanks but it was also sorta deserved. I am not gonna wallow around and claim self pity I am going to say. Yes I was a jerk. Yes I have not treated you guys right, Yes I do need to improve my husbandry even though it is good dosent mean I can't make it better. Yes I am going to change. But ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS!
 
I had like an epiphany on my site. It has been rough and people have been rowdy and such and I have been scurried all about so I said to myself. I bet I could make this alot better if I didnt just talk talk talk. I need to do do do!

Of course not! One post means nothing it is my actions. I hope I can help people out but I must make sure the validity of my info is correct! So anyway on the topic of my project I have 3 books right now all by bartlett which are good but I need 10 sources it is like 80% of the semester
 
Give google a shot and then if you stil cannot come up with something, would you be able to use an actual person as a source? If so, you could try contacting actual breeders and such and do a sort of "interview" about what you are doing your paper on.
 
I may interveiw a buddy of mine who has a bunch of snakes like everything from garters to king cobras.
 
Great but then I would suggest searching the info he gives you just to make sure it's all fact. You're making me miss my high school days and homework! Never thought I'd say that!
