for those who heat their whole snake room

Hello there,
For those of you who heat your whole snake room rather than using undertank heaters or flexwatt, may I please ask what temps you keep your rooms at? Day and night?

Thank you!
Traci

Average temp range I keep my snake room is 73-83 F at night (outside temps do influence) and 78-88 F during the day (outside temps also influence).

Well I hadn't had the need to heat my repti-room until this week. Wisconsin went from summer to fall over night and then a week later we pretty much are in psuedo-winter. So last night I turned on the heater. Typically I keep it around 80-82ish degrees. I don't keep much of an eye on it, if I walk in and it's chilly I turn on the heater, if I walk in and it's to warm to work with the animals I turn it down.

I probably should keep a better eye on it, but it seems to work. The thing with heating that room is that I have a variety of animals in there and the heater is on the floor. The tanks closer to the floor are warmer and those on the top shelves are cooler. This is why I just shoot for a slightly above room temp.
