Tank temp ?????

All I use is an undertank heat source. I used a lamp with my first corn but stopped using it due to bad sheds and lowered moisture levels. Personally, I'd go with just the mat.

my vivs are 80 cool end 88-90 hot end in the day and at night they are 70-75 in both ends. I use a heat mat and a heat lamp but when I get some more vivs soon, I will only be using a heat mat.

Thanks

Alex

Clarification on Temperatures

Every where I read, it says the the temp should be 75 to 85 degrees, but what should the ideal ambient tempertaure be? And, what should the ideal surface temperature be?

Thanks.

The surface temp is all that you need to worry about. THAT is where you snake acually spends the majority of its time. Measuring the ambient temp is dangerous IMO. An ambient temp of 83 could be paired with a surface temp that is >90!
