I'm just wondering...how much of a business *is* there for corn snakes? It's probably quite a bit different up here, but down in the States, do you sell *all* of your hatchlings, or do you keep some since there isn't much of a demand for them?

In general, do you lose money or make money breeding? I know you obviously keep them since you love them and it's not about the money, I'm just wondering in the general scheme of things. It would be really nice if I could help myself through Uni breeding corns, but I just want to know if it's feisible. Heck, it's better than the majority of jobs...
 
While in school,. I highly doubt it. The time needed to hatch enough babies to make any sort of profit or dent in school money would override the time you must use to go to school. IMHO.

But it IS a great part time hobby.

I agree with bmm...

I am in school full-time, and sometimes I have a hard time taking care of the snakes I have. I have to really discipline myself to getting in there a couple times a week. In addition to that, I do a quick check daily to make sure everyone is OK and has water.
