Anyone that has tried to take photos of flying hummingbirds, knows that it can be a right P.I.T.A. But sometimes…the images are worth the effort..

Of course, it helps to have a variety of feeders around at the right level. If the opportunities are there, and the birds are flying around…eventually you’ll get some decent shots.

Thanks for looking!

I understand how tough it can be firsthand. But you did a fantastic job. Those images are nice and crisp!

Love Hummingbirds.:) Those are great photos!
Have not been able to photograph any around here ... yet ... but got some pretty good Hummingbird photos when I visited a friend in California (Yep, it really helped that there were several feeders ;) ).

Simply gorgous shots!!! I love hummingbirds!! Unfortunately there are none in my area :0(

Beautiful camera work!! I cant hardly believe how crisp and clean they are. Amazing! Now you have to work on getting a pic of a male hummingbird to go with this pretty female :D

Chris, I have tried taking pics of humming birds(before the advent of digital cameras), and yes I was never able to capture a good let alone GREAT shot of them. But I must say in the last few shots I've seen of yours(this thread and one other) you have done a bangup job of capturing the elegance and beauty of the humming birds around your home.
Thanks for sharing such awesome pics!
