HI need help

hi I haven't been here for a long time
but I want to get back in to it
for now thou I have a few questions that if any one could help me would be nice
first I got a corn a year ago and it was a month old when I got it
how big should it be now
I try to feed it every week
one pinkie then about 2 months ago I started to feed it two
my snake looks healthy, moves around alot
but I think it may be on the small side and that it is because of me
also is there any thing I should do now
lately I have been very good and feeding it every week
also should i start to feed it fuzzes

one more thing
I know this is a corn snake web site but some one might know and any info will help
I found a baby brown garter
very very small and sooooo cute
I'm or a friend is keeping it
I have the cage and hides all set up but i don;t know what to feed it
it is so small
also any thing really differnt from corn snakes that you know about would be nice thanks

Yeah, the snake's probably been on pinkies too long. My year-olds are about 33", and eating small adult mice. Feed it fuzzies as soon as you can - they are more nutritious than pinkies. They tend to have a growth spurt once you get them on bigger food, too.

Some of my yearlings are eating weanling rats! I have some yearlings that are around 3 feet long and weigh over 350 grams! And NO (before anyone asks) I do not power feed. After my snakes move up to fuzzies, they get fed once a week. I have a wide range of sizes for my 2002 snakes. They range from approximately 120 grams to over 350 grams. I think a lot of it depends on the snake.

I will say this, however, a yearling corn should NOT still be on pinkies. I have 2003 snakes (born in June) that are already eating 1 fuzzy a week.
